New Toy To Play With

I have just set up a new site at www.onlineprojects4teachers.com which will serve as a place for teachers to both promote and find projects. It won't be as sophisticated as some other project sites -- but I think it will work for my participants.

I went with a new webhost -- www.runwithus.com -- and ended up having lunch with the webhost provider himself -- who gave me a tour of all the add-ons I have -- and WOW -- am I excited.

There is an add-on called PHP Surveyor that has just turned my online projects management into a DREAM!! It is an online database -- which perhaps is not new to some of you -- but it is new to me and it is unbelievably wonderful.

As of today -- 135 people have registered for projects from 35 states -- and I didn't have to copy/paste any of it -- I just exported it into excel and TADA -- it is done. And it is managable and WONDERFUL.

It is a free program -- and so far -- a KEEPER as far as I can see.
