Women in Technology

I have had a great deal of interest in my blogging on July 10th, of NECC -- Male Vs Female -- mostly all supportive and understanding. I hestitated to write the blog because I wondered if I was going to become a target -- but instead, it was quite the opposite.

So, its 3 in the morning, and I can't sleep -- so I decided to blog about some women in technology that have both encouraged me and taught me -- and ARE movers and shakers -- and I encourage you to add to this listing.

Alice Christie -- educator in AZ, opened the world of online projects to me (THANK YOU)
Jerrie Cheek -- educator in GA, always a support
Vicki Davis -- educator and blogging extraordinaire
Leslie Fisher -- seminar leader and makes you believe technology is fun and not scarey
Gail Lovely -- seminar leader and advocate for use of technology with younger grades
Natalie Pollard -- webmaster, friend, fellow Christian and comrade in the push for technology in the Christian private school setting
Kathy Schrock -- the safety rock on the net we all can run to
Susan Silverman -- seminar leader and technology go-getter
Tammy Worcester -- awesome webhost, seminar leader, and teaches the ease in the use of technology

right now -- that is my small list -- but I am sure I will add to it.

Thank you to all the above who have touched my life in so many ways and encouraged me to believe, accept, and thrive in the use of technology and how much fun it is. Each of you have planted a seed in me that has been nourished and has grown -- and I thank you.

Jennifer
